Interviews are challenging for all of us, but particularly so for young people being interviewed for their first job or for a place at University.
The opportunity of a Practice Interview at school with two independent adults, based on a letter of application and CV, and followed by a constructive debriefing can therefore be of great help.
Recognising this need, the Rotary Club, in partnership with Camberley’s local comprehensive schools has, for many years, organised Practice Interviews for students at Collingwood, Kings International and Tomlinscote.
Over the years many hundreds of pupils have benefited from these practice sessions, giving them invaluable experience and guidance in how to approach these most important, and daunting, requirements of modern day life.
Practice interviews continue to be an important part of the Rotary Club of Camberley‘s Youth Opportunities Programme.
This year the Practice Interviews given by our club members took place on :
Wednesday 15 November at Kings International
Wednesday 22 November at Collingwood
Thursday 23 November at Tomlinscote
