Kids Out Annual Sponsored Charity Walk News
KidsOut is possibly the most satisfying and humbling event in the Rotary year. This year over 600 local children with special needs together with over 300 helpers were given a fun day out. This year it is on Wednesday 11 July with nearly 900 children expected!

A Polio Free World
Rotary International is the spearheading member of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative

This event, growing in popularity every year, took place on Sunday 30 Sept. The walk was started by Mayor Patricia Pearce. Several hundred walkers took part , raising thousands of pounds for their chosen charities.
Well in excess of £30,000 has so far been raised by this event for both local and national charities.

Youth Speaks 2008
The Rotary Club of Camberley holds its “Youth Speaks” public speaking competition at the Surrey Heath Council Chambers.

The immediate response by ShelterBox, the grass-roots humanitarian aid organisation supported by Rotary worldwide, of 800 boxes to China has finally reached some of the Sichuan Provinces worst hit villages.
